Sitting at 7,500–7,800 feet and surrounded by high mountain ranges, the valley’s mix of rye, barley, and alfalfa fields paired with warm-water ponds and sloughs provides ideal habitat for holding birds all season long — even when temperatures drop well below zero. Migrating geese and ducks concentrate here in impressive numbers, and our team works hard to stay on fresh feeds and consistent flyways.

From adjusting decoys to brushing blinds until they disappear, our guides will do everything possible to set you up for success. While we can’t guarantee limits on wild migratory birds, we can guarantee relentless effort, professionalism, and a hunt you’ll be proud of.

Whether it’s Canada geese piling into cut corn or mixed duck flocks working irrigated fields, the Western Slope offers some of the most action-packed waterfowl hunting in the state.
