Embark on a High-Country Merriam’s Turkey Hunt

Experience spring turkey hunting in one of Colorado’s most scenic and wildlife-rich regions — the foothills and timbered canyons surrounding Beulah, Colorado. BBB Outfitters operates in this unique transition zone where rolling oak brush, ponderosa pine ridges, creek bottoms, and broken pasturelands create ideal habitat for Merriam’s turkeys. Nestled along the southern Front Range, the Beulah area offers stunning mountain views, mild spring conditions, and strong, huntable turkey populations.

The diverse habitat — warm-water ponds, sloughs, grain fields, and mixed terrain — provides exceptional conditions for Merriam’s turkeys throughout the spring. With access to 450 acres of huntable private turkey ground, hunters can expect a classic western turkey experience: big country, vocal toms, and unforgettable scenery.

Season: Fall & Winter Waterfowl Seasons (Colorado State Regulations)

Experience Pacific Flyway Waterfowl Hunting on Colorado’s Western Slope

Here at BBB Outfitters, we strive to make your hunt a memorable one. Our Western Slope hunts take place in the heart of Colorado’s Pacific Flyway, centered around Olathe, CO — a region known for rich agriculture, rolling terrain, and steady pushes of migrating ducks and geese funneling down the Rocky Mountains.

Corn, alfalfa, and grain fields blanket the landscape, attracting and holding large numbers of birds throughout the season. Whether it’s Canada geese piling into cut corn or mixed duck flocks working irrigated fields, the Western Slope offers some of the most action-packed waterfowl hunting in the state.

Our guides will work tirelessly to put you in the best position for success. While we cannot guarantee limits on wild migratory birds, we can guarantee effort, professionalism, and a hunt you’ll be proud to share. These birds change patterns quickly — but our work ethic never does.
